Bohermore National School is so lucky to be involved with Pat O’Dea.

Pat comes once a week and teaches the children set dancing and sean nós dancing.

He has been involved with the school for many many years.  Everybody loves to see him coming and the children love to showcase their talents.

The children learn many steps and explore rhythms with their hands and feet. The children explore set dancing and sean nós dancing.

There are many benefits to Irish dancing and one is “that coordination and timing and balance benefits them as a person”.

Bohermore N.S. took part in a Flash Mob at Crescent Shopping Centre, in aid of Crumlin Children’s hospital in 2018.

Pat is also involved with Parkinson’s Ireland and is providing online classes for the first time for people suffering from Parkinson’s Disease.
