We enjoyed a private guided tour of the park, taking us back in time to explore the homes, workplaces, and daily lives of people in Ireland’s past. We visited the blacksmith, the school teacher, the doctor, farmers, bakers, and traditional homes – gaining a real insight into rural life in Ireland during the 1900s.
We were also fortunate to enjoy some traditional Irish music, beautifully played by our tour guide, Mike. Everyone joined in the fun and even danced on the old street in Bunratty!
Later, Fossett’s Circus amazed us all with their incredible skills and talents. We had a lovely picnic and a visit to the gift shop before heading home – tired but full of great memories.
