EU Erasmus+ Grant Awarded to our School!

Our school has been awarded EU Erasmus+ funding for an exciting school-development project running from this September 2026 to March 2028. Bohermore NS gratefully acknowledges the support of the European Union through the Erasmus school education programme. Our project, inclusive, digitally enhanced mathematical problem solving and accessing the Primary Curriculum through digital technology will use coding, artificial intelligence and games to make learning more enjoyable and accessible for pupils.
Erasmus+ is a EU programme that helps teachers and SNAs to upskill and avail of continuous professional development (CPD). Teachers and SNAs will take part in professional learning courses in Florence, Italy. Staff who travel will share what they have learned with other staff. These courses will include areas such as:
- Inclusive teaching using artificial intelligence
- Digital learning
- Game-based learning
- Supporting students with additional needs
Pupils will benefit by become more confident problem-solvers in mathematics and being safe and responsible users of technology, especially AI. Online safety, privacy and responsible technology use will remain central to everything we do.
