On April 2nd, we celebrated World Autism Awareness Day in Bohermore N.S. It is an internationally recognised day, designated by the United Nations, to encourage people throughout the world to take measures to raise awareness about people with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Bohermore N.S., celebrated this special day through a range of activities such as creating blue handprints in art, storytelling and through age-appropriate lessons about autism. Our school has a sincere commitment to education of pupils with autism with 3 classes for pupils with ASD and 1 early intervention class.
